Professor Claire Roberts was previously Deputy Director of the Robinson Research Institute (RRI), University of Adelaide, and now leads the Pregnancy Health and Beyond group at Flinders University. Professor Roberts and her team have been following the health journeys of mothers and their children through large prospective longitudinal studies, focusing on risk prediction for late-stage pregnancy complications such as pre-eclampsia.
Professor Gus Dekker was Professor, Women’s & Children’s Health and was Academic Head of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, University of Adelaide. Professor Dekker was the Inaugural President of the Society for Obstetric Medicine Australia New Zealand (SOMANZ) and was the lead investigator for the Australian arm of the large international SCOPE study whose mission was to predict and prevent late stage pregnancy complications. His interests included the genetics and immunology of preeclampsia, prediction and prevention of preeclampsia, and the prediction and management of preterm labour.
Dr Jessica Grieger is a nutritionist and research fellow at the Robinson Research Institute, University of Adelaide, where she leads research on nutrition, metabolic and reproductive health.
